About the group
The Folha Dirigida Group, designed and created by journalist Adolfo Martins, has been in the publishing market for 25 years and has 25 publications to its name, including the FOLHA DO TURISMO MAGAZINE, first published in 1991; MERCADO & EVENTOS, created in 2003; and FOLHA DO TURISMO BRASIL, launched in 2000.
In the Travel & Tourism Sector, we publish international editions for the main tourism fairs that take place across the world in France, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Italy, England and Germany; special editions for national fairs, such as those circulating in the Fair of the Americas - Abav, BNTM, BNT-Mercosul, Salão do Turismo Roteiros do Brasil and CVC Workshop among others.
The Folha Dirigida Group has a modern headquarters in the historic centre of Rio de Janeiro, at Rua do Riachuelo, 114. It is a building with 6,500 square feet and seven floors, which was named Journalist Barbosa Lima Sobrinho and where the important brazilian daily Diário de Notícias was produced. The newspaper has a large graphic park with a Goss Community printer.

FOLHA DO TURISMO MAGAZINE - In each monthly edition, with national distribution in major cities of Brazil, FT presents articles about key national and international destinations as well as information about tour packages and travel tips, besides offering promotions to readers.
MERCADO & EVENTOS - Launched in May 2003, the newspaper is dedicated to the travel trade and includes news on all the segments inc: accommodation, aviation, travel agencies, tour operators, policies of the sector, services, cruises and car rentals. It also publishes the coverage of major tourism events held in Brazil and abroad. Interviews, event calender, and various articles complement this edition which is an open space for the tourism industry.

FOLHA DO TURISMO BRASIL MAGAZINE - In the international segment, the magazine has been highlighted by special editions. For years the Group attends the majority of tourism trade fairs abroad with its special editions always published in the local language, as is the case of WTM (London), FIT (Buenos Aires), BTL (Lisbon), Fitur (Madrid ), BIT (Milan) and ITB (Berlin) etc. In the domestic market, the FT Brasil Magazine has also been present at major fairs, workshops and for event coverage. Besides the special editions for the Fair of the Americas - Abav and Tourism Festival of Gramado, we distribute specific publications at BNTM, Fita, BNT-Mercosul, Salão do Turismo Roteiros do Brasil and the CVC Workshop as well.
THE TOURISM PERSONALITY AWARD - FT and M&E also promote an annual election - by secret ballot, direct and whose electoral college is the tourism trade in Brazil – of the personalities of tourism who have stood out in their respective areas. The delivery of the award is held in a gala night in Rio de Janeiro.
