Dados da arrecadação de impostos de resorts (excluindo Miami Beach, Bal Harbour e Surfside) referentes ao período compreendido entre janeiro e novembro de 2011 mostram um total de US$ 17.806.554, contra os US$ 14.798.492 em 2010, refletindo em um aumento de 20,3%. Nesse período, a arrecadação de impostos de alimentação e bebidas totalizou US$ 5.588.110, comparados aos US$ 4.684.540 para o mesmo período de 2010 – um aumento de 19,3%. A Convention Development Tax (CDT) informou que de janeiro a novembro de 2011 a arrecadação do Greater MIAMI and the Beaches totalizou US$ 50.666.241, enquanto em 2010 o total foi se US$ 42.963.249 para o mesmo período – ou seja, um aumento de 17,9%.
